Heskey Set For Liverpool - But Not Yet

Wigan Athletic and England centre forward Emile Heskey is set to join Premier League rivals Liverpool, but not just yet according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper claim that Latics boss Steve Bruce will not allow Heskey to leave during the current transfer window because new signing Colombian striker Hugo Rodallega will need time to settle in the UK and his new surroundings.

Cant see this being true to be honest and if Liverpool come knocking with a £4 million offer for the Hesk then I would think he would be off quicker than Dave Whelan could say 'get that money in the bank`

i think it could be a bad for heskey tbh, i know he has been playing very good for you but when he was at anfield it was the other way around. i cant see him playing all at much and i really think he would be better off staying with you.

He would be better off staying put, but I think he wants one last transfer for his pension fund

Heskey is gambling with his spot in the England team if he moves on.. He simply won't play every time in the likes of Liverpool, Spurs or Villa.. So it is better to stay with us and end his career playing insted of getting old on some big club bench..
