Palacios in Spurs Link
Wigan Athletic and Honduras star midfield man Wilson Palacios is the subject of a £10 million 'swoop` by Spurs boss Harry Redknapp according to todays Sunday People.
Palacios is one of Latics bright stars and he is constantly linked to Europes top clubs and no doubt one day he will move on, but I can guarantee it will be to a club much bigger than Spurs.
This sounds like press speculation especially with the two sides meeting today at the JJB and the People are probably just filling a few column inches.

WhiteHartSpur just look at the league table and look at the results column on the right of this page, you'll find we are 7th in the Prem and you are 18th and you will also find that we beat you today, how does that feel? Beaten by a team that cant even fill their ground...hmm write to the FA and complain you just might get the result overturned

worbo, well played today and you truely deserved it as we were poor. But dont you think you should gloat at the end of the season and not halfway through. In addition, I think you you should stay in the top half of the league or even in the EPL for a good few years. You only have to look at your final position in the EPL for the past 5 years.If am right 2 of those years you were not even there! But hey..we take it on the chin and well done today. Well be back!

Worbo you beat us for the 1st time...in HISTORY. I hadn't heard of you until 3 years ago. Yes you beat us today, but you've never won a trophy, never been supported by real fans, and never had possession of a world class player. Keep your world-class Wilson Palacios. A good player but no better than Jenas. That's not great at all if you can take the hint.

Funny reading all the spurs fans posts, clear it is really getting to them not winning Prem Matches this season and facing the drop. Palacious isn't the reason why. But hey history this history that, means squat when we are in the 08/09 season doesn't it. Wigan 1-0 over Spurs, Wigan 7th on 31pts / Spurs 18th on 20pts, Wigan +4 / Spurs -6 goal difference. Yeah history means alot right now doesn't it. Enjoy the battle for relegation guys because your season doesn't look like its going to turn around anytime soon.
