Steve Bruce on the BBC

Steve Bruce on the BBC

Following the game against Spurs Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce spoke to the BBC Match of the Day crew and he told how he was really pleased with todays result and spoke about how the team sticks at the game plan and gives sides a run for their money.

Bruce says that the Latics are on a decent run and this proves that there are decent players at the JJB though if he`d been offered 7th spot and 31 points in the middle of January at the beginning of the season he`d have snatched their hands off

Bruce is looking forward to new signing Hugo Rodallega joining the club and he says that he will allow him time to settle in before throwing him in at the deep end and he also says that the 23 year old Colombian hitman will light up the Premier League, so long as he gets his work permit.

Bruce says that there have been no bids for Latics players but if they do come in then being realistic they will need to be looked at but he hopes that no one will leave during this transfer window.
