What the bosses said - City Vs Latics

Following yesterdays Premier League fixture between Wigan Athletic and Tottenham Hotspur at the Eastlands Stadium both bosses, Mark Hughes and Steve Bruce, spoke to the press, lets see what they had to say:

Latics boss Steve Bruce

"Cattermoles gone down in the area and it`s a penalty but he`s not given it, he sent Dunne off, I wish he hadn`t because after that he gave them all the decisions"

"The Zaki has a golden chance and how he misses I don`t know

'It was arguably the miss of the season. It was harder to miss it than score.

'But we played very well and threw everything at them.

'For effort and endeavour we deserved something. We were unfortunate - we came roaring back after looking a bid jaded in the first half.'

City boss Mark Hughes

'We had to dig in and show our resilience.

'We kept a very good Wigan side down to very few clear-cut chances and that was down to our determination to win.

'I didn't expect Pablo Zabaleta to score but it was a great finish and capped a great performance by him.'
