Palacios, Played his Last Game for the Latics?

Wigan Athletic midfield man Wilson Palacios could well have played his last game for the Latics in yesterdays defeat to Manchester City at Eastlands, who says so, Wigan boss Steve Bruce that`s who.

Following the game Bruce was interviewed by the BBC`s Match of the Day programme and he was asked if that was Palacios` last game to which Bruce replied:

"It could well be, Tottenham have had their bid accepted but there was another club who came in and made a bigger bid last night"

With the Latics having no game until the visit to the JJB of Liverpool in 10 days time it gives the powers that be time to sort out the transfer before we play again.

It will be sad to see Wilson go, he has lit up the team since he made his debut at Derby County last year and his performances have been fantastic, one things for sure we wont get another Wilson Palacios, there is only one

He had another good game yesterday and against the 'other' club in the race for his signature

Prefer City to get him than Spurs, mean we get more money as well and the way city are heading it won't be long before they move towards the top half of the table after they finish recruiting

worbo, I hope he stays with you, and does not come to us, not because I think he is a bad player on the contrary, but it is always sad that you get a manager and he has built you a team, which plays good football and then you sell your best players, Bruce now has to look for a similar player with little time to do it in. Good game yesterday, Not sad Zaki missed the sitter of the season, will be on DVD's for years to come.
