Bruce Says Valencia Going Nowhere
Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce has issued a hands-off to all suitors of Ecuador super star Antonio Valencia, for the time being at least.
With Wilson Palacios leaving for Spurs Bruce is no mood to lose any of his other stars this month and this may be a statement to Dave Whelan, Latics chairman, as much to the clubs chasing Valencia, Bruce told reporters:
'I am the manager of a club that is always going to lose our better players when the big boys come in. But I won't be losing two players this month, that's for sure!'

In the Summer, at least we can better prepare and 14m for Palacios will go a long way as well. Its a shame to see him go but we can get as equally important a replacement.
