Our friends at Vital Villa, are quoting an unnamed press source as confirming that the big man is closing to moving down the M6, to link up with his old manager Martin O'Neill

With the impending arrival of Mido to link up with Zaki, this would seem a good bit of business for Wigan, with Heskey able to go for nothing in the summer.
