Latics Line Up Modeste M'Bami to Replace Palacios


Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce is lining up a shock move for Marseille midfielder Modeste M'Bami with the 26 year old out of contract in the summer he is available for £500,000

The Sunday People report that M`Bami is a cut price replacement for Wilson Palacios who was sold to Premier League rivals Spurs last week

M`Bami has played for both PSG and Marseille in the French top division and he is also a Cameroon international making 28 appearances for his country scoring 7 goals along the way

Latics face competition from both Newcastle United and Sunderland for the signature of M`Bami

not good enough , he is moody , and he was unable to match the egyptian midfield during the can 2008 , neither was jean macoun ,nor alexandre song, they were just running behind hosny tryin 2 stop him , and it ended with 4 goals in their net , not good enough 4 wigan if u ask me .

On one hand, the report given makes him sound fairly promising... on the other hand, our last Cameroon international was Salomon Olembe. Doesn't instill much confidence, does it...
