'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Pollitt the last in line

Whilst Mike actually joined the club a month before Ryan they were the only players left at the JJB from the inaurgural adventure in the Premier League.

This is a remarkable turnover of players in four years and shows that very few players renew their contracts at the JJB.

Mike whose one year deal ends in the summer is beleived to be highly regarded by Steve Bruce and is expected to be offered a new one year deal.

Pollitt who is now 35 years old has made 41 appearences for Wigan in four seasons and is considered the number 2 keeper to Chris Kirkland.

Nice guy, hope they extend his contract

And has done a really decent job of standing in as well. I thought he did well against Liverpool, to name but one of many good performances.
