Vital Wigan Podcast Episode 2 Available Now

The new Latics Speyk podcast is now available for download from itunes or you can enjoy the feed by clicking the podcast player at the bottom of this page, whatever you do make sure you check it out.

On this episode there is an interview with former Latics captain Colin Methven who played nearly 300 times for Wigan Athletic between 1979 and 1986, he skippered the side to promotion, won the Freight Rover Trophy at Wembley and went on many a cup run.

Methven was voted Latics all time greatest player back in 1998 and he truly is a Latics Legend, during the interview Colin reminisces about his happy memories at the club and the managers that he played under, he also talks about his present role at AFC Fylde and his hopes for the part-timers and he uses Latics as an example to what can be achieved.

Also on the episode is a visit to the Vital Latics studios by Latics Speyk regular poster Rabeem, he faces 10 quick questions and discusses pies and the forthcoming Middlesbrough game amongst other things.

There is music from Gang Starr, Yes, The Verve, The Artic Monkeys, Just Jack, Massive Attack and Dave Stewart and last weeks competition winner is announced.
