Latics Fans Believe in Mido and Zaki

Latics Fans Believe in Mido and Zaki

Mido and Zaki is the dream front line pairing at Wigan Athletic for the majority of Latics fans, well according to our latest poll they are.

We asked what you thought the front line should be and 67% of you say the Egyptian pairing of Mido and Zaki would provide a Pharaoh attack

With another 27% opting for Zaki and Rodallega it is obvious that Egypts bulldozer Amr Zaki is the Latics fans favourite striker at the moment, the voting was:

Who should lead the Latics line?

Mido & Zaki 67%

Zaki & Rodallega 27%

Mido & Rodallega 6%

So 94% cant see the Latics without Zaki in attack

The new poll is now available and its asking who you, the Latics fans, think will win the FA Cup, I know we went out at the first hurdle but there is still some interest because depending on who the eventual winners are we could end up qualifying for Europe

If a top 5 side win the cup and the runners-up have already qualified for Europe, ie another top 5 side then that spot will then fall to the team who finishes 6th in the league and if Manchester United win the Carling Cup then that spot will fall down to 7th, who`s 7th at the moment? Oh yes it`s us.

So who do you think will win the cup out of the 11 sides left in the competition?

The teams still in there are:

Arsenal, Blackburn Rovers, Burnley, Chelsea, Coventry City, Everton, Fulham, Manchester United, Middlesbrough, Swansea City and West Ham United.

My choice is Everton which would suit the Latics for that European spot so long as Everton finished in the top 6, so who do you think will win the FA cup?

Just select your choice on the right side of this page then hit the submit button, its that easy.

Just got a sneaky feeling that Everton will win it this year and with a home tie in the 1/4 final you cant ask for anymore

Dan's Big Game Report - Burton 0 Latics 2

Alright, so despite the hammyteur Twitter meteorologists' predictions, it never did snow in Burton upon Trent today.

But on Friday morning, the Met Office (presumably a wild new joint venture of the Metro newspaper and the Post Office) issued 'yellow warnings' of ice in Staffordshire. From this we can only assume that the county`s dog walkers embarked upon an unprecedented mass figure skating session producing gold medals you certainly don't want in your hands.

Oh, disregard
