Rachid in Dutch Trouble

Sky Sports are reporting that Wigan Athletic winger Rachid Bouaouzan who is currently on loan at NEC Nijmegen has been disciplined and placed in the reserves for the foreseeable future, for incidents after last weekend's Eredivisie game.

Rachid who has been performing well for the mid table side this year, was reportedly substituted during the game and allegedly failed to appear in the dressing room after the game.

There were then further indiscretions on the training field and during a team meeting to prepare for this week's UEFA cup game.

Bouaouzan will always be remembered for an horrific tackle, whilst playing for Sparta Rotterdam on a Go Ahead Eagles player, whose career ended after the horrific break.

There is no indication that Bouaouzan will be back at the JJB before the end of the season and it was rumoured that before this incident, Latics were looking to make the loan move permanent.
