Lee Probert to Referee Chelsea Vs Latics


Chelsea Vs Wigan Athletic on Saturday will be refereed by Gloucestershire born 36 year old official Lee Probert

Probert began refereeing aged just 14 in 1986 in the local leagues in and around the Bristol area, he took charge of his first Football League game 17 years later in August 2003 when Northampton Town lost at home to Torquay United

Lee Proberts first Premier League game was a 1-1 draw between Sheffield United and Portsmouth at Bramall Lane in January 2007.

So far this season Probert has refereed 5 Premier League games issuing 13 yellow cards and 0 reds, Lee Probert took charge of the Latics Vs Fulham game at the JJB earlier this month booking Latics left back Maynor Figueroa
