Bruce Sets Tactics For Chelsea

Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce is getting his tactics sorted for the weekends game at Chelsea and he hopes that the Latics can carry on their 4 match unbeaten run.

Bruce says that he feels that Chelsea will play the same formation that they have all season and he says that the appointment of Guus Hiddink wont effect how they line up on Saturday.

Admitting that there is more quality in the Chelsea squad than the Latics one Bruce still remains optimistic that he can get a result at the Bridge, after all we got a 1-1 last season a result that almost guaranteed Manchester United the title, Bruce told reporters:

'We'll have to be tactically spot on.

'We know that Chelsea have outstanding players who are better than ours, but on the day who knows what can happen?

'I don't really go along with the theory that it would be better to have played them a couple of weeks ago before Guus Hiddink took over.

'Their formation hasn't changed, and neither has the way they play.

'Chelsea have been a very good team for a long time who always take a lot of beating.

'It's going to be a very hard afternoon.'
