Paul Robinson Wanted by Bruce - Really?

Paul Robinson Wanted by Bruce - Really?

Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce, according to the Sunday People, is considering making a summer swoop for West Brom left back Paul Robinson.

Robinson was all set to sign for the Latics two years ago when at the eleventh hour the club called the deal off, now its suddenly back on?

With two of the best left backs currently playing in the Premier League already at the club, Maynor Figueroa and Erik Edman, why on earth would we want to sign Paul Robinson and no disrespect intended there either.

This smacks of pure speculation and I am sure Brucie is more concerned about getting an attacking midfield player, a right winger and Chucho Benitez into the Latics once his summer spending spree begins.
