Result of Poll - Stuart Attwell is Rubbish

Result of Poll - Stuart Attwell is Rubbish

Wigan Athletic Vs West Ham United has been the talk of the football world this past few days and all we have heard about is how the Latics players tried to kick West Ham off the park, what a load of twaddle.

The game was ruined by the incompetence of the man in the middle a certain Stuart Attwell, at 26 way too young and with just over one years refereeing behind him way too inexperienced to be in charge of games at this level.

So following a dire performance on Wednesday Vital Latics decided to ask the site visitors if they felt that Mr Attwell was the worst ever Premier League referee and a resounding number said yes he is, so it appears that here at Latics Speyk we are not alone in shaking our head in disbelief at such an absolute inept display of officiating a football match that I have ever seen.

For the record the voting went:

Is Stuart Attwell the most incompetent Premier League Referee Ever?

Yes - 61%
No - 16%

The new poll is available on the right side of this page and its quite simply asking how do you like your TV Football :

BBC, Sky, Setanta, ITV or Channel 5?

He is the worst at the moment, got bossed around too much by the players on Wednesday, maybe a few years down the line when he gets some experience he will be ok but at the moment way out of his depth

Latics v Brentford - Big Game Preview

Latics go into the game against Brentford hoping to build on the win away at Burton last Saturday, another three points this afternoon could see us lifted out of the bottom three come 5pm, what a change around that would be from the despair that we were all feeling as we came in to the new year.

The truth of the matter is that the team is too good to be stuck where it is in the league, we have enough quality in the ranks to be higher up the table, hopefully the last two games have shown t
