Bruce Interested in Going For A Brazilian


According to reports Wigan Athletic could be about to offer Brazil and Bayern Munich midfield player Ze Roberto a lucrative deal to take him away from the Bundesliga and in to the Premier League.

The 35 year old midfield man is out of contract at the end of the season and Bayern are only prepared to offer the vastly experienced man a one year contract and that`s where Latics come in.

Along with Newcastle United the Latics are set to meet the Brazilians wish for a longer contract and try and tempt him to the JJB.

Ze Roberto has had a glittering career taking in Real Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen and current club Bayern Munich, he also has 84 caps for Brazil scoring 6 goals, Ze Roberto told reporters:


'I feel fine being at Munich and I will discuss the offer with my agent as well as with my wife'

'But I am at the top of my game actually and, honestly, a 12-month contract may not be long enough for me.'


Ze Roberto is a devout Christian and plans to become a pastor once his playing days are over, so a little prayer might go along way towards bringing the superstar to the JJB.
