Lawro Predicts - Sunderland Vs Latics

Lawro Predicts - Sunderland Vs Latics

Mark 'Lawro` Lawrenson, the ex-Liverpool player and current BBC pundit has done his weekly round of predicting the scores for this weekends Premier League games and yes he`s gone back to form by predicting another defeat for the Latics, lets see what he has to say and why he sees Sunderland to come out on top:

Sunderland are very strong at home and will consider themselves unlucky not to have beaten Spurs last time out when Robbie Keane's late equaliser denied them.

Wigan, on the other hand, are scratching around a little bit of late, typified by their match last week against West Ham, which was a real battle. The players ended up trying to referee the game themselves there, although that was probably just as well given that Stuart Atwell was in charge.

Steve Bruce's side have started to look a little bit inconsistent and they are are missing Wilson Palacios and Emile Heskey all of a sudden, so I'll tip the Black Cats to edge this one.

Verdict: 2-1

Well Lawro I am afraid I have to disagree with you on this one, I can see a crafty little away win with a cheeky goal from Mido so worbo`s prediction is 0-1 in Latics favour.

I think we will pull this one out of the hat. We always seem to come good when the chips are down

Thank you Lawro, im going to the bookies... He sais we lose and we always do better... I think our problem is when we have to live up to the expectations. I cannot remember a single game that we won when I was sure we are going to win. When we are underdogs we always play well.
