Wigan Athletic new boy Cho Won-hee played his first game in Latics colours last night as the reserves drew 2-2 with Liverpool reserves at Robin Park Arena.
Cho made a decent impression, his play was neat and tidy, very workman like and he set up a goal for Jon Routledge when he showed good vision following a break down the right.
The South Korea international certainly didn`t look like he`d not played for three months and he appears to be a naturally very fit lad, Cho himself though is determined to get fitter and he wants to be totally prepared for the rigours of the Premier League, he told reporters:
'Coming to England is a huge step for me and I want to make sure I am physically prepared when I get my chance in the first team.
"I know how hard I am going to have to compete to win a shirt, but that is what I am here for and my whole focus now is on trying to get into the team.'
The 25 year old has now been training with the first team for 2 weeks and reports suggest that he is indeed very focused.
Nice one Cho
