Mido Give's it Plenty

Wigan Athletic on loan forward Mido is doing extra training sessions at the Latics in a bid to get himself lean and mean with the season heading towards what could be a dramatic close, with Latics boss Steve Bruce very pleased with the Egyptians attitude, Bruce said"He is one of those who needs to be worked and toned to the bone as he is such a big, powerful boy. It`s great he wants to do that"

Bruce is full of praise for a player he has coveted for quite a while and he simply loves his attitude in and around the training ground, Bruce continued:

"Mido has been a breath of fresh air in the way he has been doing extra training himself.

"He has been doing intensive extra sessions and the idea came from Mido himself.

"In the past he has been criticised but his problem is he missed chuncks of the season through injury and obviously his fitness suffered"
