Lawro Predicts - Latics Vs Hull City

Lawro Predicts - Latics Vs Hull City

Mark 'Lawro` Lawrenson, the ex-Liverpool player and current BBC pundit has done his usual round of predicting the scores for this weekends Premier League games and this week surprisingly he`s backing the Latics to win, is that a first? Lets see what he has to say and why he thinks we`ll come out on top:

Wigan crushed Hull 5-0 earlier in the season but this won't be as one-sided. Steve Bruce's men will have been buoyed by their victory over Sunderland last weekend, their first win in nine games.

Hull would have been knocked for six by the manner with which they lost their midweek FA Cup tie to Arsenal, and events after the game would have aggrieved them also so they really need to forget about all of that.

Hull keep on scraping results here and there but I'm going to go for a home win.

Verdict: 2-1

Well he`s not too far off my prediction, I am going for a 3-1 home win
