Zaki Set to Stay in England

Wigan Athletic striker Amr Zaki is likely to stay in England once his loan deal at the JJB has ended, whether that`s with the Latics or another Premier League club is open to debate at the moment.

Zamalek are reportedly asking €12 million which is more than Latics are willing to pay and chairman Dave Whelan says that he will discuss a possible deal with Zamalek once the current season is over.

Meanwhile there are reports coming from Qatar that an un-named club is willing to meet Zamaleks asking price and also offer Zaki FOUR times his current wage at Wigan but the Egypt striker is uninterested.

Zaki wants to stay at the Latics, if that isn`t possible then he will stay in England with another club, Zaki`s agent Nader Shawky speaking to on line football magazine Filgoal said there were no official offers for Zaki and that he would only consider offers from EPL sides because it is intention to stay in England for the foreseeable future

I hope he does stay at the club, I am sure that next year he will be more acclimatised to the weather and his good form will go on longer

I would love him to stay with Wigan but 12 million is too much

his lack of goals recently could see the price favour you!

Can't see too many other clubs being interested in him to be honest. He made an absolutely blistering start but has since gone pretty badly off the boil, so I suspect wily old Whelan will be able to haggle the price down to a more reasonable £6-8 million, although if you sell Valencia to the rags you shouldn't struggle for cash.about him acclimatising
