Zaki Out For Three Weeks

Zaki Out For Three Weeks

Wigan Athletic striker Amr Zaki is facing up to three weeks on the sidelines following an injury picked up in yesterdays World Cup 2010 qualifier game for Egypt against Zambia in Cairo

Zaki gave Egypt a 27 minute lead when he swooped onto a cross from the right and slid the ball home from 15 yards, Zambia equalised 10 minutes into the seconds half and though the Egypt side through everything at the Zambia defence they couldn`t find a way through.

Zaki picked up his injury right at the death and following the scan it has been diagnosed as a slight hamstring tear and he will likely miss the Everton, Arsenal and Blackburn games for Wigan
