'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Mido Not Affraid On His Own

Wigan Athletic and Egypt striker Mido says he is enjoying playing the loan striker role even though its not the way he usually plays.

With a striker shortage at the club Latics boss Steve Bruce will probably continue to play 4-5-1 in the away game against Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday and that will see Mido take the lead in the Wigan front line

Speaking to the Wigan Evening Post the 26 year old striker said that one of his best seasons saw him perform the role of loan striker for Ajax, Mido told the WEP:

'I'm playing a different role here than I normally do, but I know how to do it.

'One of the best seasons of my career came when I played in this kind of system at Ajax - they played one striker up front.

'It is a little more difficult when you play up front by yourself, by I'm feeling good."
