Wigan Athletic - Brownie Set for ½ Century Not Out

Wigan Athletic midfield man Michael Brown is on 49 not out and all set for his 50th league appearance for the club if he gets on the field in the Latics game at Goodison Park against Europa League rivals Everton.

Brown joined Wigan Athletic in August 2007 from Fulham for £3 million and was Chris Hutchings last signing as Latics manager.

The combative midfield man plays the game with his heart on his sleeve and the former Fulham, Spurs, Sheffield United and Manchester City man is very much a whole hearted player.

I have enjoyed watching Brownie at the Latics and for me he was our player of the season last year.
