Latics to Target Dynamo Kiev Star Ismael Bangoura

Wigan Athletic are targeting Dynamo Kiev star and Guinea international, Ismael Bangoura, to replace out of favour Amr Zaki in the Latics attack next season.

The 24 year old joined Kiev from Le Mans in 2007 for a fee reported to be around £5 million, since joining the Ukraine club Bangoura has found a rich vein of form scoring 27 goals in just 37 games.

Bangoura as also represented his country in 37 international matches hitting the net on 19 occasions.

At 5`8 Bangoura isn`t the tallest of players but he is fast and has two good feet, he would be available for a fee of around £7 million.

Why would he go to Everton or Fulham when he can come to the mighty Latics? Is he any good is my question though

Looks like he plays a support/second striker role like just off the front man.

Plus he's taller than Arshavin! I am glad we are not looking at more target men, I am sick of hoofball! It doesn't work. Look how easily Everton dealt with it! Only when we play it on the grass do we create any decent chances.

Just have to see how it comes off at the end of the day. Must admit not all that convinced by Rodallega so far though I must say he has been unlucky. I hope we show some more good ambition this summer with the transfer market.
