Blackburn Rovers Vs Wigan Athletic
Mark 'Lawro` Lawrenson, the ex-Liverpool player and current BBC pundit has done his usual round of predicting the scores for this weekends Premier League games and this week unsurprisingly hes backing the Latics to lose. Let`s see what he has to say and why he thinks Blackburn will come out on top:
`This is a tasty north-west derby and I expect plenty of tackling. Blackburn are having their hiccup at just the worst time. They need one more win to be safe and I think they will get it here.'
'Wigan's sale of Wilson Palacios and Emile Heskey, along with injuries, has seen them tail off. It's not that they are paying the price for selling the players as they have had a really good season. '
Verdict: 2-0
Sorry Lawro you are so wide of the mark on this one (pardon the pun), Blackburn are down at the bottom for one reason, they are awful, they have players out of position and a manager whose tactics are as outdated as Warburton`s bread, this is the game where we re-start our Euro push, worbo`s prediction 2-0 Latics win
