Bruce looks down the A580 to solve striking crisis
With Zaki,Camara, King and Sibierski seemingly gone from the club during the summer and Mido's future at WIgan unclear, Steve Bruce needs to strengthen his strike force to partner Hugo Rodellaga.
It is beleived that he is to approach Manchester United for Frazier Campbell , currently on loan from United to Spurs. Latics almost signed Campbell on deadline day but he went on loan to Spurs as part of the deal which took Berbatov to Old Trafford.
It is beleived that Campbell is valued at around 5 million and that this may be part of the much rumoured Valencia deal to the Red Devils.
Another possible move is a season long loan deal for the young Ecodorian forward Filepe Caicedo at Manchester City.
Signed from Swiss side Basel for just over 5 million pounds Caicedo has made 31 appaearences for City in 18 months scoring 6 goals.

There were stories about C. Benitez this week. We need more than one striker and since we can't sign him until the summer anyways the press is moving on.

Caicedo could be a good signing for you, a bit in the Heskey mould, big and strong. Lacks PL expierence and doesn't get enough games at City when everbody is fit. I don't think we will sell him but a loan deal could work out for both clubs.
