Edman looks to return home

Edman, who was the incumbent for the left back spot until an horrific knee injury last season, away at Blackburn ,has been forced to watch from the sidelines thoughout the season since his return to match fitness due to the form of the ever present Maynor Figueroa.

During this period he has worked hard to regain his match fitness ,often being the only senior player in the reserve side.

AT 30 years of age and a Swedish international, Edman is understandably wanting first team football and with two young children,a chance to return to his native Sweden may prove too big a temptation to turn down .
