Wigan v Bolton

Wigan prepare to entertain Bolton Wanderers at the JJB Stadium in a bid to end their poor current form. The last win they sustained was a 1-0 home win against Hull. However, despite this poor run of form, there was never any real pressure on the Latics and the Europa League, despite the fact it is still achievable, was only ever going to be a bonus. I, for one, would be happy with a top ten finish.

The Latics don't have many worries going into the game and hopefully, Mido will be raring to go and putting another ball into the back of the net.

However, the real focus is on Amr Zaki. Will he be able to rediscover his early season form and finish the season on a high
Something tells me he may score tomorrow.

Bolton go into the game, hoping to avenge their 1-0 defeat here from last season, where Emile Heskey scored a brilliant individual goal to boost the survival chances of the Latics and henceforth, a good run of results after saw the Latics cement their premier league status for a fourth season, down to the wonders of Steve Bruce and the team's resourcefulness on the pitch.

WIGAN: PLAYERS TO WATCH: AMR ZAKI
=================================

This guy's due a goal and I think he could get one tomorrow. Zaki and Mido are a deadly combination when the tempo's right and will give Bolton's satisfactory defence a tough afternoon.

BOLTON: PLAYERS TO WATCH: JUSSI JAASKALAINEN
============================================

Jussi is a very good goalkeeper and I think he will be a good one to watch at the JJB Stadium as he always puts on a show and I think he might be a tough nut to crack when in the mood for it.

ROB'S PREDICTION
================

A three game losing streak may come to an end tomorrow for the Latics. Bolton are none too clever on the road at the moment but I think this will be a steely encounter between two sides, when all said and done, really have very little to play for. I would say the game is more precious for Bolton than it is for the Latics but apart from that, there's very little to worry either side going into this fixture. I think both teams are capable of a draw.

Wigan 1 Bolton 1

Zaki to score for the Latics and Davies to score for Bolton.

ROB'S FINAL THOUGHTS
====================

I hope the Latics go onto bigger and better things next season and if we can get other players in the mould of Heskey and Palacios, I think we can plus a few other additions to the side. Lets hope Bruce is still on good terms with Arsene so he can pick up one or two tips!

I really hope that Zaki could be the difference,I also hope that he finds enough support from the latics and specially his team mates because lately they don't support him like they used to do before
