Ryan Babel Set For Summer Switch

Wigan Athletic are lining up a big money move for Liverpool and Holland youngster Ryan Babel, well that was the word in the stands at yesterdays game with Bolton.

Babel is desperate to get out of Anfield so that he can get his career back on track but whether he would consider a move to the Latics as that step is open to debate especially with the prospect of European football a long distant memory at the JJB.

The source of the story was a reliable one and claims a 9 million approach has already been made, it would certainly be an exciting addition for the Latics and would compensate for the inevitable departure of Antonio Valencia

He used to a one of the most talked about striking talents in the world, a lot of people compared him to a young Henry before Benitez made him into a left winger. Kuyt'd. Did you hear about Joffre Guerron? I bet they just read that on here! Or I was right when I said that if Bruce was at that Brazil Ecuador game I bet he noticed Guerron as a possible right winger! :-P

Is that a joke!! it must be coz with all due respect to wigan and the fans Babel is one of the brightest young talents on the planet living today and im pretty sure its quite impossible tht he would move to wigan even IF the price the right ..I would love to see a player of tht caliber in wigan whom I really admire as a talented team but to get players like Babel the club needs to be bought by some rich arab who could splash the cash left right and cinqure to lure as many world class players and then may be wigan could have a Babel!!
