Scharner Off To Germany?
Reports in Germany and Austria are suggesting that Wigan Athletic and Austria defender Paul Scharner could be on his way out of the Latics this summer and off to the Bundesliga
Schalke and Hamburg are both interested in the madcap Austrian and with just a year left on his contract and no mention of renewing Steve Bruce may be tempted to cash in has he looks to reshuffle the Latics squad a head of the new season.
Scharner has been at the JJB since signing from Norwegian club Brann Bergen in 2006 and he has made over 100 appearances since

We need more characters like him. We sold all our good ones in 06/07! Bullard Kavanaugh McCulloch Chimbonda.
At least we have Mido now though. I like a bit of personality in a player.
