Steven Fletcher Set For Latics Switch

Wigan Athletic are poised to sign Hibernian striker Steven Fletcher for 3.5 million and beat Glasgow giants Celtic in the race for his signature.

Latics general manager John Benson was at Easter Road on Wednesday to check out Fletcher and open negotiations with the Edinburgh club

22 year old Fletcher was born in Shrewsbury but from the age of ten he has lived in Scotland, he made his debut for Scotland in March 2008 and he has played 4 games scoring once.

His record for Hibs is 43 goals in 154 appearances

The scottish guy on this football radio show i listen to is always on about him, he really rates him, I never really watch the SPL but he's supposed to be the scottish hope along with McCormack and Fleck.
