Lawro Predicts - Latics Vs Pompey

Wigan Athletic Vs Portsmouth

Be afraid be very afraid, why? Read on

Mark 'Lawro` Lawrenson, the ex-Liverpool player and current BBC pundit has done his usual round of predicting the scores for this weekends Premier League games and this week surprisingly he is backing the Latics to win. Let`s see what he has to say and why he thinks this game will end in a win for Steve Bruces men:

"It's been difficult season for Portsmouth who are in a dire situation financially and will have to offload players in the summer.

'Wigan will also lose their best assets in the summer, but that's how manager Steve Bruce operates things at the club.

'He buys them cheap and sells them on at a profit if he can. But it's been a decent enough season for Wigan who will look to end on a high in front of their own fans.

Verdict: 2-1

I am not saying anything except thanks Lawro, I hope you are right
