Latics to Get Windfall Payment

Wigan Athletic are set to receive 400,000 as part of Kevin Kilbane`s transfer to Hull City due to the Tigers survival in the Premier League.

Killer appears to be enjoying his time at the KC Stadium since his January move for an initial 500,000 and just has he did at the Latics he is showing his versatility by playing in more than just one position and actually played centre half in the last two games of the season against Bolton and Manchester United with Hull fans singing his praises for two rousing performances

Phil Brown will feel its money well spent and with another two years remaining on his Hull contract he just might have a big role to play on Humberside again next season.

Nice one Killer and congratulations from all at Vital Latics on staying up.
