Wolves Chase Boyce and Brown

Wigan Athletic pair Emerson Boyce and Michael Brown are the subject of interest from newly promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers according to the Daily Mirror.

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy will be looking to strengthen his side with Premier League experience and the Latics duo have plenty of that, coupled with the fact that both have only one year remaining on their current deals, though Boyce is in negotiations to extend, and with the uncertainty over boss Steve Bruce this might be a good time to strike.

Boyce has been in excellent form once again this season and playing alongside Bramble at the back the former Crystal Palace and Luton defender has been a rock

Brown always gives 100% and he never shirks a tackle, if you are going to be in a fight then he is one player you want in your team, slated as just a spoiler Brown can play a bit but that is always overlooked by the so called pundits.

Personally I cant see Boyce leaving though Michael Brown might relish the prospect of a new challenge and with Latics centre midfield already bolstered with Lee Cattermole and Ben Watson and Honduras international Hendry Thomas set to join soon Brownie could find himself squeezed out.

The move could be too good for Brownie to turn down, sad to see him go though

Yup I can see Brown going, not Boyce though.
avantsweater
We've messed Boyce around for 12 months over a new contract and he understanably wants his future sorted. Can't blame him if he goes
