Amr Zaki Set For Blackburn Rovers

Amr Zaki Set For Blackburn Rovers

Former Wigan Athletic striker Amr Zaki is set to sign for Blackburn Rovers in a permanent deal that will take the Zamalek and Egypt international forward back to the Premier League.

Vital Wigan have been contacted by sources very close to the player to let us know that the former fans favourite at the JJB will be returning to Lancashire and signing up with local rivals Rovers.

Sam Allardyce is set to conclude the deal and it is expected that the move will be announced officially in the next couple of days.

Zaki was an instant hit with the Latics and there is no doubt that he is a talented player, lets hope that he now has the temperament to match and we wish him all the best.

now that is an interesting one. Might turn out one of those 'doh, why didn't we sign him' or (and more likely I think) 'thank god he didn't come to my club'. Hmmm.
