Camara and Sibierski off to pastures new

Camara and Sibierski off to pastures new

To no great surprise , Henri Camara and Antoine Sibierski have left the club as free agents.

Both Henri and Antoine were at the end of their contracts and having spent a considerable part of last season on loan, at Stoke and Norwich respectively ,neither player was expected to be offered new deals.

Senegalese forward Camara signed for Wigan in Ausut 2005 from Wolverhampton Wanderers and became a firm fan favourite scoring 20 goals in 69 games for the Latics.

Henri fell out of favour and spent last season out on loan at West Ham and returned this season scoring four goals before being sent on loan in January to Stoke City.

Sibierski joined Wigan on a free from Newcastle in the summer of 2007 and unfortuantely his spell at Latics was largely plagued by injury. He scored four goals for the club in just over 30 appearences.

Both players leave with our best wishes.
