Martinez targets Swansea star

Martinez targets Swansea star

The 26 year old right back has made over 70 appearences for the Swans since signing from Spanish Second division side Terrassa.

The Mirror reports he will cost around three million pounds and this move will increase speculation on the future of Wigan captain Mario Melchiot.

Melchiot has said he would consider his future at the end of the season and much will depend on how Martinez sells his vision to the Dutch master.

Another player being strrongly tipped to link with his old manager is Lee Cattermole.

The 'Catt' cost Wigan 3.5 million last summer and would add much needed bite to the Sunderland midfield as well as freeing up funds for the incoming Wigan manager.

Just media bull at the mo, cant see Catts going anywhere especially back up to an area where he has been notorius for getting into trouble off the field and we are only linked to Angel because he is a Swansea player and is Spanish!
