Wigan Athletic - Kapo Wants To Go, Again

Wigan Athletic player Olivier Kapo is once again bleating to the French press about his desire to quit the Latics and make a fresh start in France.

Kapo arrived at the JJB last summer at a cost of £3 million from Birmingham City and though Steve Bruce initialy raved about the France international the former Auxerre and Juventus player only had a bit part last season.

With Bruce now out the door and settled in at Sunderland the 28 year old attacking midfield man wants to follow and his sights are set on a return to France, Kapo told L`Equipe: 'I feel I am at a turning point in my career, I didn't play a lot last season and I was not happy at Wigan.

'I now want to leave and I would like to go back to France. I want to show that the Kapo from the Auxerre period has not been banished.'

Never lived up to anything much and a big disappointment
