Wigan to miss out on Fletcher

22 year old striker Fletcher is quoted as saying that he wishes to link up with former manager Tony Mowbray, if the current Baggies manager takes over as expected at Celtic.

Fletcher, who was watched late in the season by John Benson was a prime target for Steve Bruce looking to strengthen his forward line.

The move of Bruce to Sunderland and lack of a manager at Wigan has delayed any move for Fletcher and it now appears that the opportunity has been lost.

Yeah a first name would be a big help haha. As for "missing out" on him, I mean Bruce is gone, Benson's gone, and we're going to have different targets anyway. I'm really not concerned.
