Further talks needed before Martinez unvieling.

Huw Jenkins has been contacted but no agreement has been reached regarding compenasation for the two contracted back room staff, that Roberto wishes to bring with him from Swansea.

With this impasse, Wigan have decided not to engage in any further discussions until next Monday at the earliest.

A very dispirited looking Chief Executive, confirmed tha Martinez will defiantely be the new Wigan manager whether he is able to bring the backroom staff or not.

the irony is of course that the new Swansea manager will probably get rid of the previous backroom staff when he takes over so we could then have them for nowt

Never thought of that. It is ironic, but Swans are probably happy to cause us trouble. Can you blame them?

Makes Latics abit of a laughing stock, when the CE (Brenda) says she was unaware of a problem with compensation !!!!!!!!!!! The TV / press will have a field day on Friday. Premiership more like Blue Sq. Conference !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The deals are separate like last year with eric black. The chairman is just dinking us around because he knows they are screwed next year and wants to get the fans on his side.
