Fulham to test WIgan's resolve

Paul Scharner has stated that he wants a move to enable him to fulfill his ambition of playing European football.

Whilst his negotiating fee in his contract is six million pounds , Fulham are believed to be readying a bid of four million in the hope that new manager Martinez may be tempted to sell in order to fund his own transfer dealings.

Scharner is a good player, but 6m is ridiculous. And, even if it's just 4m, I certainly wouldn't regard that as being sold cheaply. Frankly, I hope we just leave this one alone. Not a big fan of buying 29 year old utility players.
