Cattermole has been linked with a big money move, to reuite him with his former manager Steve Bruce.

Dave Whelan has stated that Cattermole won't be moving saying,'Lee is going nowhere...you cannot replace that kind of player.'

With key players in Valencia and Scharner looking like leavingthe club, the retention of Cattermole is seen as vital to future success for the Latics.
