Latics Poised To Sign Mohammed Diame

Latics Poised To Sign Mohammed Diame

Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez is hoping to pull of a coup and sign one off the hottest prospects in world football, Mohammed Diame in the face of competition from Barcelona, Real Madrid, Real Zaragoza and Arsenal.

The 22 year old Frenchman has had to overcome serious illness and left French club Lens due to this, but he has been a sensation this past season in the Spanish Second division where he played for Vallecano and with a host of Europes top clubs chasing him the Latics have nipped in with a £3 million bid which has been accepted according to sources.

Diame is a dynamic centre midfield player and renowned for excellent vision, passing ability, tackling and heading, he has pace to burn and shoots on sight and he looks like he could well be heading to the DW stadium as signing number two.

The revolution as begun

Koumas may be better under Martinez. Krapo would be better under a firing squad.
