Amr Zaki to Wigan Athletic Back On?

Wigan Athletic appear to be in negotiations with ex-loanee Amr Zaki and his club Zamalek about a possible return to the Premier League with the Latics, according to the player at least.

There has been lots of reports regarding Zaki`s wish to return to the Latics to 'sort out un-finished business` and with this sites close ties to the player we were the first to break the story that he would love to line up in his number 13 shirt at the DW Stadium this coming season.

Now reports in Egypt are suggesting that there has indeed been dialogue between Latics owner Dave Whelan and Zamalek President Mamdouh Abbas about the possibility of another 12 month loan deal for 2 million Euro or a even a permanent transfer to the Latics for Egypts number one striker.

Vital Wigan will endeavour to find out exactly what is going on with this story, stay tuned folks!

I would have him back tomorrow but think it needs to be on a permenant basis this time for security for all parties

Not sure how to feel on this one. I'd feel pretty good about it if we didn't end up spending a lot but given past posturing by Zamalek that doesn't seem like that would be the case.
