Wigan Athletic in Honduran Buyout

Vital Latics regular centrelink1 takes a sideways look at what the future holds for the Latics and his quirky vision sees a definite link to the Americas, read on:

Honduran newspapers are announcing a buyout of Wigan Athletic. Similar to the Arabs taking over Manchester City, Wigan may be bought by the Honduran Government.

A spokesperson commented 'Well Wigan have half our national team and all of Honduras notable players either have been or will be there so we might just buy the club and try and boost our profit'

'By doing this we hope to boost tourism, and look at taking the club into UEFA cup next year.'

When asked if Wilson Palacios would be brought back to Wigan under the new management, our spokesperson says 'It would be a very high priority'

Dave Whelan, the current owner of Wigan Athletic, had this to say :'Well as much as I love the club I can make a lot of money out of this deal so... see ya'

Steve Bruce, who recently left the club, had this to say: 'un ******* believable. The moment I leave the club gets some ******* money in. I mean I may be shopping at Harrods now but Martinez gets discount on every bloody player from Honduras'
