Graham Barrow is Back at Wigan Athletic

Wigan Athletic have got another new member to their coaching staff but once again it is a familiar old face to the Latics fans as ex-player and manager Graham Barrow makes a return to the club to work alongside his close friend Roberto Martinez.

The 56 year old has recently been first team coach at another of his clubs where he plied his trade as a player, Blue Square Conference club Altrincham, but he was desperate to get back into the full time scene.

In a recent exclusive interview on Vital Wigan Barrow said: " I want the full time involvement back and being involved on a daily basis"

Well he certainly has that now stepping into the hurly-burly world of Premier League football.

Speaking exclusively with Vital Wigan this morning Barrow said: "I am delighted to be back, it was only sorted out yesterday, I am really excited and looking forward to the challenges ahead"

"We have nothing to fear but it will be tough, we will be ready and in Roberto there is a first class manager at the helm"

Barrow will take up the role of reserve team manager but also be part of the coaching staff for the whole squad of Latics players, he was clearly very excited and pleased with the prospect of returning to the club that gave him his start in the professional game as a player and with men like Graham Barrow at the club, who have the club at heart then the future of the Latics looks very rosy indeed.

Welcome back Graham
