Bruce Ready to Concede Defeat Over Cattermole
Wigan Athletic appear to be finally getting their message over to former boss Steve Bruce that Lee Cattermole is not for sale, so forget it.
Although Bruce hasn`t completely given up he is now becoming resigned to the fact that there is no way that the Latics and more importantly Roberto Martinez are about to agree to the sale of possibly the key player in the Wigan squad.
Bruce told reporters: 'We are interested in Lee Cattermole and we'll keep in touch with Wigan hoping to do something there.
'But there will come a time when you have to accept that you are not going to get a certain player and at that point you have to move on.
'That might prove to be the case with Lee. We'll just see how it goes.'
