More Signings Still To Come at Wigan Athletic

Wigan Athletic chairman Dave Whelan says Roberto Martinez has not finished in the transfer market following the latest capture of James McCarthy from Hamilton joining Jordi Gomez from Espanyol, Hendry Thomas from Olimpia and Jason Scotland from Swansea City.

Martinez has identified another 4 signings, two of which are believed to be forwards with Espanyol striker Raul Tamudo deep in negotiations with the club. The Latics boss has also sent scouts searching for a centre back and a wide right midfield man to complete his summer spends.

Whelan says on the transfer situation: 'We are always trying to help Roberto - I promised him I would and I'm trying to do that.

'The squad is really taking place now - but I'm sure he's not finished with his requests just yet.'

Albert Crusat anyone?
worbo
Crusat and Tamudo hopefully

Still convinced Crusat plays on the left... Victor Moses more likely IMO, besides we need at least one Palace player for the year
